In Cover Candy #12 (The One With the Crowns) we’re looking at books with crowns on the covers. Ooo, shiny!
With all the doom and gloom going on in the world recently, I need some relief! (Corona Virus, anyone? FYI, a corona is a crown or crownlike structure. It’s also a small circle of light seen around the sun or moon, due to diffraction by water droplets. Which is cool, right?) So I spent way too much time this morning admiring my Collection of Beautiful Book Covers. I find looking at beautiful artwork soothing, but it also inspires me. I wonder about the stories and characters, and sometimes I get ideas for my own tales. (Because I need to venture down more rabbit holes, right?)
As usual, I can’t vouch for the contents of the books represented below. We’re only here for the eye candy!
