Do you ever marvel at the fantastic finds you trip over throughout your day? So many of them are quite by accident: Beautiful pictures, awesome quotes, funny stuff, amazing things people are creating and doing…

I get so tired and depressed when/if I read the “regular” news! So I’ve made it a point to follow sites that teach or amaze me—or sites that explore the ways we regular humans support and sustain one another. I like to leave my perusing of the news feeling hopeful and excited. How about you?

In a ringing endorsement, the United States’ leading author-advocacy trade organization, the Authors Guild, today (April 29) has issued a statement in support of author Nora Roberts’ lawsuit against an alleged Brazilian plagiarist.

“It’s now my mission to turn over the rocks you hide under, then stomp you deep in the muck you breed in.”

Meet the only library in the world that operates in two countries at once. This is wonderful, but I’m glad I don’t have to get tangled in the legal tape!
